A Jun-Glazed Twin-Handled Jar, Jin Dynasty(金代鈞窯雙耳罐)
The Jun ware, known for its distinctive opalescent glazes that often show striking blues, purples, and soft reds, was produced during the Jin Dynasty (1115–1234). This type of pottery is highly valued for its aesthetic appeal and rich glazes, which were achieved by firing copper and iron elements under a reduction atmosphere. The twin handles on this jar are also a common feature in such functional but elegant vessels from that period.
